On Tuesday 25 February, we had the pleasure of hosting a delightful gathering of Old Collegians from the Mid-Canterbury region. The beautiful setting of the Lake House in Lake Hood, Ashburton, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening filled with reminiscing and camaraderie.

Our alumni, representing classes from 1946 to 2005, enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect and share fond memories of their time at the College. A highlight of the evening was hearing Craig Galloway (OC 1970), son of Ian Galloway (Rector, 1962–1982), recite entertaining anecdotes about his unique experiences as the Rector’s son and the amusing escapades he and his friends got up to.

Our Director of Boarding, Matt Parr, also joined us as part of our Boarding Roadshow. He shared insightful updates on how the College has evolved over the years, sparking lively discussions among our Old Boys and memories of cold winters nights and canvas tarpaulins, masquerading as walls.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening truly memorable. Your presence and stories are what make our community so vibrant and enduring.
