The College's Second-hand Uniform Shop is now located in the old (but refurbished) Cricket Pavilion, accessible from the Papanui Road driveway. Policy for Second-hand Uniforms

The PTA operates the Second-hand Uniform Shop. All current regulation school and sports uniform items, in excellent and clean condition, will continue to be gratefully received with all net proceeds received by the PTA being donated back to the school.

The PTA is changing its policy regarding what items of second-hand uniform can be sold on behalf, to reduce the huge workload put in by volunteers.

From 1 December 2016, the following items of second-hand uniform can be sold on your behalf (unless you prefer to donate them), with you receiving 70% of the proceeds (the PTA retains 30%, which is donated to the school):

  • blazers;
  • jerseys, cardigans, vests;
  • charcoal trousers and shorts (not black);
  • girls’ blouses;
  • pinafores, skirts;
  • tracksuits (new style only).

Please note items to be sold on your behalf must be given to the shop in a bag and be clearly labelled with your:

  • full name (used for cheques);
  • address, including postcode (for posting cheques);
  • phone number;
  • email address.

If an item is not sold after two years it will become a donated item, with all proceeds going to the PTA. All other items of uniform, such as shirts, ties and sports items, will no longer be sold on your behalf but the PTA will still gratefully receive them as donated items to sell.

The PTA reserves the right to decline and/or dispose of any items that are not suitable for sale without advising the owner.

Please note – all items currently in the shop will continue to be sold on your behalf up to 1 December 2016. After this date, items not on the list above will be treated as donated items. If you do not want to donate your other items, you can collect them from the shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3.00pm–4.30pm before 1 December 2016. They will be unable to be collected after this date as their identifying tags will be removed.
