Giving to StAC

Annual Giving 2017

Annual Giving is an opportunity, once a year, where we invite you as a member of our St Andrew’s College community, to support the College with a donation.

All donations received through Annual Giving between 2013-2017 are contributing towards the campaign Step Into Our Future.

Thank you to all of you who have supported Annual Giving in the past, including our True Blue donors who have contributed to Annual Giving for five years or more.

Your generosity has helped provide scholarship support, raised funds for the new Chapel and raised funds for the Sports and Cultural Centre.

Annual Giving over recent years has also helped with special projects including; a play area in the Preparatory School, outdoor equipment at Castle Hill, replacement of professional television cameras and has helped provide new Theatre lights.

Annual Giving 2017

This year you can direct your donation to:

  • The Chapel
  • The Sports and Cultural Centre
  • The St Andrew’s College Foundation and Endeavour Scholarship
  • To be used at the Rector’s discretion
  • Special project for 2017 – Audio Visual System Upgrade in Gym 1

2017 Special Project

The Annual Giving Project for 2017 is the upgrade of the Audio Visual system in Gym 1. Many of you attended our Centenary Founders’ Day Assembly that we held in the Gym. This is just one of many assemblies held in this building during the year and to be able to continue this tradition in the future, the time has come to make these upgrades.

Please join us in donating to Annual Giving 2017 and supporting the campaign Step Into Our Future.

The Annual Giving Special Project 2014 is for new theatre lights. These will become an integral part of our redeveloped Theatre, which is part of phase two of the planned Sports and Cultural Centre.
Ninety percent of St Andrew’s College students participate in sports and cultural activities every year. Cultural successes so far this year include a successful sold out season of Guys and Dolls and four national awards at the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare. Our students thrive performing in theatresports, debating teams, speech and drama competitions, and delight audiences with the annual dance revue and StAC Ballet Academy production.
All groups who use the Theatre for practices and performances will benefit from the new theatre lights, including groups from outside the College who hire the theatre. St Andrew’s College currently owns some theatre lighting but the bulk of the lighting required is hired for each event. Significant savings will be made each year by having our own lighting.
Please join us in donating to Annual Giving 2014 and supporting the campaign Step Into Our Future.
