Domestic Tuition Fees

Outline below are tuition and other fees for attendance at St Andrew's College. Our Registrar, Lynn Smith will be happy to answer any questions you have around fees and scholarships.

2018 Tuition Fees for New Zealand Residents (Per annum, including GST)

Years 1 - 2               $14,400
Years 3 - 4     $15,900
Years 5 - 6     $17,000
Years 7 - 8     $18,100
Years 9 - 13     $20,900

Boarding Fee

Years 9 to 13           $14,400

Application Fee

Preparatory and Secondary Schools - Years 1-13

$150 (non-refundable)

2019 Acceptance Fee

Preparatory and Secondary Schools - Years 1-13

$1,400 non-refundable Acceptance Fee, which includes the student's life membership of the Old Collegian Association and $1,000 which will be credited against your son/daughter's College account when the first tuition charge is made.

Payment of Fees (New Zealand Residents)

Tuition and boarding fees are charged in ten equal monthly instalments (January to October) and become payable in the month following. It is mandatory for all new students to St Andrew's College to pay by direct debit.


Extra costs, such as stationery, outdoor education experiences, co-curricular photographs and external examination fees, are charged monthly.

Fee Discounts

Families with three or more siblings at the College may receive a 10% discount on tuition fees for the third child and subsequent children attending at the same time provided none receives a scholarship or any other form of financial assistance from the College.
